Motorola has introduced the Edge 60 Stylus in India, expanding its Edge series lineup with a stylus-equipped smartphone priced under Rs 25,000. Positioned to appeal to users seeking stylus functionality without the high cost, the device is set to go on sale on April 23.
The Motorola Edge 60 Stylus comes at a price of Rs 22,999 and offers a stylus integrated directly into the phone's body. The stylus can be accessed via a slot located on the bottom-right edge. Once removed, users can take notes using Moto Notes, sketch illustrations, annotate screenshots, and use a handwriting-based calculator. The stylus also supports live message creation and sketch-to-image conversion powered by Motorola's AI tools.
While the Edge 60 Stylus offers functionality similar to stylus-centric flagships, it lacks advanced features such as Bluetooth integration and screen-hover detection found in Samsung’s S Pen-equipped devices. However, Motorola includes stylus location tracking, a useful addition for preventing loss.
In terms of performance, the phone features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. It runs Android 15 out of the box, with Motorola promising two years of OS updates and three years of security support.
The Edge 60 Stylus sports a 6.67-inch 10-bit pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It includes a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. The front houses a 32MP selfie shooter.
The device will be available in two colour options: Pantone Surf the Web and Pantone Gibraltar Sea. Motorola aims to position the Edge 60 Stylus as one of the best mid-range phones with stylus support, directly targeting users interested in a stylus phone under Rs 25,000.
